AFN CNN

i ran 5 miles on the treadmill after work yesterday and 5 miles before work today and i am FEELIN' it!

this morning while running i watched american CNN (as opposed to international CNN). i was able to catch up on the disappearance of natalee in aruba. i think this girl disappeared before i left for the village, so i was amazed authorities have not yet found her body.

tonight i am going to GK (I or II i don't know). but they have *real* gelato there (just like at the place in c'ville or in italy). i think chocolate hazlenut sounds good? i also need to get some work clothes. the only thing i am NOT looking forward to is the heat. the low at night is 90, so there really is never an optimal time to go outside. i'm going to stop complaining about the weather now bc i really don't have the right to since i live and work and commute in AC 75% of the time.

except the AC in my room is not really working-- the fuse/circuit breaker switches flip off after a few minutes of it being turned on. hopefully that will be fixed soon. in the meantime i am sleeping on our ground floor/common room couch.
