well, i asked for work and i got it. i have an article to write for a magazine and a load of editing to do for some market research reports. about the article, i am not really writing it-- more like assembling it and smoothing out the bumps (you can do this in the federal government, apparently). and as for the editing, i am on my second report which is much more difficult than the first one was.

there are certain buzzwords in india right now-- privatisation, infrastructure development, FDI, etc.

on tuesday i am meeting the #2 here in delhi. i am excited about that. i really do like it here and i really do like this type of work. i don't know if i can ever work on US-domestic issues now. it seems so bland.

it is friday and i am going to ghaziabad for the weekend. anand and natalie leave sunday, so it is the last i will see of them for a long time because they are moving to CA.
